Parallel to the public discussions in the context of ‘Imagining Monuments’, artist-curator Anne Bielig will organize a series of intimate, informal conversations. The aim of these conversations is a mutual learning experience by carefully examining and formulating questions surrounding the role of monuments today and the general lack of female representations in public monuments and in society at large.

Starting from Anne Bielig’s preceding research and the artistic proposals by Katinka De Jonge, Stef Van Looveren and Mashid Mohadjerin, we will go into a dialogue and deeper exchange about this sensitive yet urgent topic.

No prior knowledge of the topic required – all welcome!
The conversations will be in Dutch and/or English (in agreement with the participants)
