Noam Youngrak Son presents ‘Chimera Gastronomy: Malleable flesh, amalgamated bodies, and plastic kinship’. In the workshop, a group works individually and collectively on a large malleable body of dough made of food waste, and turns it into a hybrid creature. During the kneading, they reflect on identity, gender and ethics. The co-created edible sculpture is a translation of our collective and personal struggles, discoveries and feelings around bodies in this society. According to Son, the result is a chimera: a living being that arises from cell mixing. The workshop is an experimental and fun way to discuss complex topics. It is open to adults and children (+5).
