On Saturday 27 August, the second session of Candied Conversations will take place.

Let’s set the table and break bread together, as crumbs of shared knowledge and laughter fill up the crevices of the spread. Candied Conversations is an encounter where we share a conversation and a meal, somewhere in Extra City’s monastery backyard… The second session will be with Sadrie Alves.

Sadrie Alves is a Belgian Brazilian multidisciplinary artist, illustrator and performer currently living in Brussels. The core of her artistic practice departs from drawing as a symbolic action and as a catalyst for tender narratives and collaboration. She sees drawing as writing as singing as crafting. Her work is inspired by oral histories, myths, and the beings that inhabit them.
