From Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 May, the 9th edition of Antwerp Art Weekend will take place: a city-wide event for contemporary art in Antwerp. During that weekend, 72 art venues in and around the city will join forces to celebrate contemporary art as a valuable and essential part of society.

Kunsthal Extra City is once again taking part in the festivities. So from 18 to 21 May, you can visit our exhibitions for free. On view are the exhibitions:

Performance on Saturday and Sunday

On top of that, we treat you to an exclusive multi-sensory performance by Subin Son. The performance of ongoing charachter will take place on Saturday and Sunday in the corridors leading to our chapel and during our opening hours.

Antwerp Art Weekend closing party

On Sunday 21 May, Kunsthal Extra City and MORPHO cordially invite you to a festive closing of the Antwerp Art Weekend in our monastery garden. Music will be provided by Club Mayz and Marijn Ottenhof.
